About the event
A wonderful night with ERCO's usual high quality and versatile programming. Guest vocalists include Elinor Kirby and local chorister Abi Moult.
The programme includes such timeless classics as Mozart's Marriage of Figaro Overture and Bizet's wonderful music to his opera 'Carmen'. Our leader Mike Gray will perform John Williams moving theme to Schindler's list, Elinor Kirby will sing Music from Les Miserables and reprise her stunning performance of Shirley Bassey's classic 'Diamonds are Forever'. She will be joined by Abi Moult, the Beverley Chorister for Andrew Lloyd Webber's beautiful 'Pie Jesu'. A foot-tapping 'Sing,Sing,Sing and our popular James Bond theme sits alongside Phantom of The Opera and Star Wars
We have some gorgeous Ukrainian music and the evening will finish with Beethoven's inspiring finale to his 9th Symphony including the much loved 'Ode to Joy'. A night of scintillating music in aid of our friends in Ukraine.
