About the event

The Orchestra starts its second season with a concert in aid of the Hull and East Yorkshire Motor Neurone Disease Association. We are putting on our usual varied musical menu with classics such as Rossini's 'Barber of Seville' Overture, Faure's beautiful 'Pavan' and Rimsky-Korsakov's exciting 'Dance of the Tumblers' from the popular 19th century opera 'The Snow Maiden'. We will pay tribute to the great film scores by performing John Williams evocative 'Jurassic Park' Danny Elfman's 'Spiderman' and music from Hans Zimmer's classic 'Gladiator'. We have an array of guest singers for you with regular ERCO favourites Ellie Kirby and Abbie Moult (2022 BBC Young Choristor of the Year semi-finalist), who will be joined by star singer from the Hessle Theatre Company Russell Fallon who is going to sing (amongst other items) that great Harry Connick Jn (and Michael Bublé)  classic ' Cry me a River'. We also have something really special showcasing all of ERCO's versatility as we perform Ennio Morricone's iconic spaghetti western score from 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly'. A night not to be missed!
